Load lifters are designed to bring heavier loads closer to your back when wearing a framed backpack.
The Aspen naturally hugs your back as it is a frameless pack. In addition, since it is designed to carry lighter loads, load lifters aren’t necessary.
That said, if you would like to add custom load-lifters, please reach out to us at support@symbiosisgear.com.

The Aspen is water resistant. It is made of extremely durable Dyneema® fabric, so by nature, it keeps water out. You’ll see that water beads up on the outside. If you plan on hiking for many hours in heavy rain we recommend putting your sleeping bag and warm layers in a dry bag or trash compactor bag.

Men with narrower frames have found The Aspen to be comfortable! Those with wider shoulders (6’ tall and over) do not fit The Aspen well.
